“AWFUL”

We were looking for a place to stay near the airport with free shuttle. We arrived late in the evening, tired from a long day. Looking forward to a good nights sleep before heading home. When we arrived the woman at the front desk was NOT very friendly. Our room smelled awful and was extremely hot. We immediately turned on the air conditioner. It was very noisy. The door had been repaired with extra hardware on the locks as if it had been kicked in before. We put a chair against it before going to bed. Paint was peeling off of the wall. We also noticed bugs in the room! With a name like Howard Johnson's, we expected much more than we got for out money. The only thing positive that I can say is that the shuttle driver was very friendly and helpful and on time. Glad to get out of there!
